“Credo” Chamber Choir was founded in April, 2002. The head of the choir is a graduate of the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P. Tchaikovsky, winner of the Grand Prix of the III Ukrainian competition for choral conductors, Bogdan Plish.

From the beginning, “Credo” managed to attract attention of a wide range of music fans and get rave reviews of the most influential musicians of the country. While performing sacred music, artists of the choir strive to achieve unity of highest artistic level of performance and warmth and inspiration of sincere prayer. This is how the choir creates its own unique performing manner.

In 2005-2016, “Credo” toured Russia, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, France. The choir participated in the IV, V and VII Moscow Easter Festivals (artistic director – V. Gergiev), and also took part in the IV International Festival of Sacred Music in Rottenburg, where the performance of “Credo” was recognized as “the crowning of the festival”.
The choir sang concerts in the most prestigious concert halls abroad: Concert Hall named after P. Tchaikovsky (Moscow, 2009), Concertgebouw (Amserdam, 2010), Berliner-Dom (Berlin, 2008), Berliner Philharmonie (Berlin, 2011). The choir won the XXIV International Competition of Sacred Music “Hainuwka-2005” (Poland), took Grand Prix of the 44th International Choir Competition in Tolosa (Spain), became a finalist of the European Grand Prix in choral singing-2013 (Arezzo, Italy).

“Credo” Chamber Choir recorded such CDs: “Chants and Prayers” by G. Sviridov (2004), “Archangel’s Voice” Kyiv chant (2007), “Chernobyl Liturgy” by Bishop Jonathan (Eletskyh) (2009), “New and Holy Easter’ (2009), “Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom” by Abbot Roman (Pidlubnyak) (2012).
